EM Tyre Specialists recently held a graduation ceremony to celebrate the success of ten trainees, five females and five males, who completed a twelve-month intensive tyre training program fully sponsored by the company.
With support from Debswana’s Citizen Economic Empowerment Programme (CEEP), EM Tyre Specialists has established itself as a trusted partner committed to empowering local communities and providing safe, reliable tyre services.
During the ceremony, Mr Goitseone Gadifele, General Manager of Jwaneng Mine, praised EM Tyre Specialists for their ongoing partnership and commitment to supporting young Batswana. He commended the company for its efforts in promoting youth empowerment and skills development within the Jwaneng community.
Mr Oabile Babitseng, the General Manager of EM Tyre Specialists, expressed his gratitude to Debswana for their ongoing support and collaboration. He noted that the training program is part of the company’s Corporate Social Investment (CSI) initiatives. He emphasized that the program aims to address the shortage of technical skills in the Jwaneng area by equipping young people with job-ready expertise in tyre management and maintenance.
Ms Keletso Ratobela, one of the graduates, expressed her gratitude, emphasizing that this opportunity has changed their lives and equipped them with essential, transformative skills.
