The Human Resources DCC team has once again demonstrated the power of unity and compassion. As part of their Corporate Social Investment (CSI) initiative for 2024, they committed to supporting Mahupu Unified Secondary School through a School Shoe Drive. Each team member pledged P300, dedicated to purchasing school shoes for children in need.
Recognising the importance of this cause, they extended the initiative to the wider DCC community, and the response was overwhelming. The team managed to raise P60,120.00, inclusive of match-funding provided by the Business. This allowed them to provide not only shoes but also blankets and stationery—essential supplies that will make a lasting impact on the students’ education and well-being.
On the 24th of January 2025, the team proudly handed over the consignment, a moment filled with joy and gratitude. This achievement truly reflects our core value of ‘show you care’ and highlights the incredible impact we can make when we come together for a common goal.
