Recently, Jwaneng Mine leadership held a series of engagements with Heads of Departments (HODS), primarily from the Jwaneng and Mabutsane areas. The sessions are part of ongoing discussions aimed at promoting collaboration, with more engagements scheduled in the coming months.
Before meeting the HODs, Jwaneng Mine General Manager, Goitseone Gadifele, hosted Councillors, District Commissioners, Council Chairpersons, and Council Secretaries from these regions. Jwaneng Mine Senior Managers and other Executives provided updates on various key projects, general achievements and challenges, all contributing to the mine’s strategic objectives.
The annual engagement ensures alignment between Jwaneng Mine leadership and key stakeholders, addressing concerns and identifying areas for improvement to support seamless operations.
To wrap up the sessions, HODs toured the mine pit to gain firsthand insight into operations and better understand the scale and complexity of mining activities. The discussions will continue in March as part of the engagement plan
